About Halley

I'd describe my personality as joyful, understanding, kind. I like working with kids because at every stage of their lives, there is more to discover about them. There is always an opportunity to guide them, aid them, and learn from them. They are tough critics, but the most honest, and there is so much to gain from working with them. I'm looking for a job that provides some work-life balance, connection with people (parents and kids alike), and interaction with the surrounding area. I started working with kids when I was in high school - I had a dance teacher who had two children, and a family friend with two children, and would babysit for them through my sophomore, junior, and senior years. In my spare time, I like to read, swim, sing, and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I am so excited to work with your family! My skills include tutoring (early and middle school education), activity-planning, and working on conversational and listening skills.
