About Grey

I am an upbeat, energetic worker with a strong work ethic. I have served for four years as a companion to a young man with developmental delays. As caregiver, I cooked, did light house cleaning, assisted in life skills, dispensed medication, assisted in his education and provided transport. We attended events and sports in the area. I am interested in working with the elderly and people with disabilities. I have experience with persons with autism as my daughter is on the spectrum. I have served patients and families at Duke Hospital for 30 years offering support and arts in health care. I am organized and detail oriented. I began my work at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in NY assisting elderly patients, and patients with upper spinal cord injury. My interests include gardening, poetry, art, reading. I also have experience teaching to all levels.
