I lost my own mother October 2015, at 80, after many years of ill health, so I understand well how difficult these situations can be -- and how important it is to have compassionate, knowledgeable help. In part to assist my mother, I became a state-certified Nursing Assistant, with work experience in a hospital emergency department. I am also a former volunteer EMT & have been certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. I need to get my CPR re-certification. For one 78 yo friend, I served as informal patient advocate & medical "interpreter" at doctor visits & during several stays in the hospital. He was quite ill in 2022 but is doing much better now and will celebrate his 80th birthday in December! Helping seniors and others maintain as much dignity and independence as possible gives me great personal and professional satisfaction. I would be honored to help you and your family!
