About Greer

Veteran French/English bilingual teacher with 15 years of experience in a high-performing NYC public elementary school, and now available to support multilingual learners in person in the Bay Area, and remotely everywhere else. My priority is to find the play in the hard work of learning, be it with stories, songs, puppets, games, or role-playing. Questioning and reflection are at the heart of my teaching practice: setting my students up to draw their own conclusions about new concepts by offering examples and giving clues, allowing them to take ownership of their own learning. I personalize my instruction to meet the interests and needs of my students. This often means stretching my creative muscles to come up with new activities that will interest, engage, and challenge the learner.
