Hello! I have been a tutor for 15 years; as a volunteer, at schools, libraries, and homes! I am proud to say a student of mine, went on to attend a very nice high school of the arts in San Francisco. I have helped students prepare for finals and essays. I've had requests for adult learners of English, proofread essays, and much more. I was an AVID tutor for SFUSD and a volunteer academic coach. During the pandemic, I was a nanny, housekeeper, babysitter, tutor, personal assistant, and helped with errands/ meal prep. My professional experience includes fundraising, special events, and retail. I'm very interested in agriculture, wildlife conservation, and creating solutions! I recently opened up my small business, Hakuna Matata Vibes, producing eco-friendly greeting cards to raise awareness for wildlife conservation! Shafia is a great math tutor. We are working on improving my 5th grader son's test scores and only after 2 sessions we have already seen improvement. Shafia does a great job explaining concepts step by step and is patient.
