Hi! My name is Grace and I am a 23-year-old from southern VA, moving to DC in just 2 short weeks. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Speech Communication Disorders last spring, and am going on for a masters in Speech-Language Pathology next year. I have a passion for helping others and love anything related to caregiving. I have varied experience babysitting, nannying, volunteering in K/1st classrooms, teaching part-time at a preschool for a semester in college, teaching ski lessons to kids 3+ this past winter, and working as a camp counselor for 7 summers. I just finished teaching teens to sail in the Caribbean this summer! I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, patient, and warm. While we were on a ski trip Grace watched our toddler. She was absolutely wonderful! Our normally shy toddler instantly warmed up to her. We felt comfortable leaving them two together. We appreciated Grace's easy communication and flexibility on meeting spots. She was energetic and warm. She stayed at the lodge and watched our little one while we were able to get some child free runs in.
