About Genesta

In my nearly 10 years of experience, I have worked primarily with children under 12. In that time I've spent the majority of it working part-time for families while I was in school. I have been an early morning nanny responsible for waking the children and getting them off to school as well as an afterschool nanny responsible for pick ups, chauffeuring, making dinner, helping with homework, and getting ready for bed. On many occasions, I have been hired by a family for a date night event and they will invite me to continue working with their family on a more regular basis after having used me once. I take it to be a reflection of my ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor, being able to listen and remember and follow through on directives from parents, and the fact that once I leave the children have nice things to say about me in their own words and want me to return again.
