About Genesis

I am going back to school for early childhood education so that I can pursue my passion for working with kids at a higher level. I understand how much of a positive impact that teachers can make in children's lives & I'd love to contribute to be a positive impact for my future students and kids that I work with/take care of. Growing up with a lot of siblings and being the eldest daughter, I took on the role of being a babysitter/housekeeper/nanny naturally so that I can help my parents when they were busy with work or too tired. I believe that our encounters with children can impact them a lot, so it is important to handle them with compassion, respect, love, and care so that as they grow up they can understand they deserve to be loved correctly, and so that they do not have to heal from their childhood as it eventually shows up in their adulthood at some point. Children are so pure and need to be treated with the most patience and love, and to be guided in the right direction in life.
