About Gena

Hi! My name is Gena and I am 29 years old. I have a bachelor's degree in English from Long Island University. I am pursuing a master's degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities Early Childhood Education at Molloy College. I am halfway through the program and normally register part-time. I have a teaching assistant certification and I am working towards obtaining my initial teaching certificate. I currently work part-time at a high school as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher. I worked in a middle school for 4 years as an assistant. I have worked in two daycare centers and with children in many different capacities, and settings. I provided personal childcare for several families from age 16 until now and have letters of recommendation. I absolutely adore infants and children of all ages. I am responsible, reliable, very caring, and loving. I would care for and love your children as if they are my own. I look forward to hearing from you!
