About Garrett

With 8 years if experience in Early Childhood Education, I bring a patient, energetic, and supportive approach to every child and family I work with. I have a Master's degree in Education. I have completed 12 ECE and have worked primarily as a substitute teacher in a variety of classroom settings, giving me experience with many different teaching styles, development levels, personalities, and cultural backgrounds. Though a bulk of my classroom experience has been as a substitute teacher, I also have experience working full-time in a care center, in which I helped foster community and communicate regularly with parents about collaborating to meet their child's needs. This included daily updates on classroom activities, curriculum, and learning goals. In addition to childcare, I also have experience teaching math at the high school level, making me a great fit for families looking for a babysitter, nanny, tutor, or a combination of all three.
