With experience teaching everything from elementary-school English to particle physics, I have both the academic and professional background to support a passion for learning, exploration, and self-investment. I have had great success teaching people of all skill levels, and am especially experienced with neuro-atypical and gifted individuals on the autism spectrum. Outside of teaching, my work experience is rich. I have spent years programming highly interconnected computer systems, building scientific instruments for international physics experiments,, design and fabricate award-winning robots for the world stage. We joined forces with a few other families to hire Gabe as a writing tutor for four high-school-aged boys. This was no easy task given COVID, schedules, and the boys' reluctance to have virtual tutoring sessions on a subject they don't care for. Gabe has been fantastic! The assignments have been interesting and engaging, and he has created a great dynamic where the kids want to learn from him and care what he thinks. My son actually looks forward to their virtual meetings. Gabe is very responsive, dependable, creative, and flexible. We would highly recommend him.
