I am flexible on rates, depending on number of children, etc. If money is an issue, let's discuss it and get your childcare needs met. My first job was as a swim instructor and lifeguard instructor. And yes, my CPR and teaching skills are still up to par. I have worked with children who live on the autism spectrum, as well as trauma survivors. I believe strongly in trauma-informed care. This meansthat I prioritize co-regulation, respect for where the child needs to be met, and acknowledgement of their capabilities as young humans, where children are held to a high standard while being supported through learning how to be human. Ive also used with Montessori and Reggio teaching philosophies, both in schools and in swim lessons, as well as in babysitting. I am able to help with homework and homeschooling as well.
