About Melissa

For the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and development, fueled by a passion that began with early babysitting experiences. I am a former English teacher and have taught grades K-12 with a focus on supporting autism and ADHD. I do after school tutoring and teach music lessons as well. My approach is patient, creative, and friendly, and I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy engaging children with outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I have a college degree and coursework in Early Child Development. I am skilled in cooking meals, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, crafts, and supervising swimming activities. I am also certified in CPR Training. I provide regular updates to parents via their preferred communication method. I can care for up to four children of all ages. Ultimately, I want to create a safe and happy environment where your children can thrive.
