About Fatuma

I was born and raised in Uganda, where I grew up in a close-knit extended family that taught me the importance of love, compassion, responsibility, and caring for others. In my culture, children are raised by the entire family and community, and from a young age I was surrounded by younger siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews, helping to care for them and learning that every child deserves patience, encouragement, and a safe environment to grow. My passion for working with children comes naturally. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, supporting their learning, celebrating their unique personalities, and helping them develop confidence through play, kindness, and positive guidance. I believe that every interaction with a child is an opportunity to make them feel valued, heard, and loved.
