About Evelyn

I have an extensive background in both hospital and Hospice care nursing. I began working with seniors as a CNA at a nursing home in 1993 and continued this work through nursing school. I graduated in 1999 with degree in nursing and immediately went to work on a renal, diabetic and wound care floor at Sarasota Memorial Hospital where I took care of a variety of patients. Over my years in hospital nursing I took care of adults on the orthopedic and behavioral health care floors as well. I began Hospice nursing in 2012 while continuing to work part-time in the hospital. I continue my Hospice work today in Hospice houses--inpatient units with Tidewell Hospice. I am looking for part-time work with individual seniors. in their home or in a facility. I believe I have the compassion and professionalism to assist seniors with their daily care as well as troubleshoot any arising medical needs--for instance the need for a foley catheter or comfort medications.
