About Eva

I've worked as both a nanny and an assistant teacher in a toddler classroom and have loved both. I excel at creating safe, fun, and comfortable environments for children to play and explore in, and have found I have a knack for connecting and drawing out the best from the children in my care. I love to prioritize outdoor time whenever possible. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, kind, and value driven. I like working with kids because gentle reminders, firm boundaries, and routine help them to thrive, and providing these simple things remind us adults where our own priorities should be. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and share meals with my friends. I'm also a textile artist and costume designer for a local theater company. My skills with the youngest children and babies include sleep training, toileting, and general comforting/soothing (calming a teething baby, napping an energetic toddler, etc).
