About Leah

Hello! My name is Leah. I am an elementary school teacher of 9+ years currently transitioning to my next career! During my nine years, I taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade and was also an English Language Teacher for PreK, K, 2nd, and 5th grade multilingual learners. I have been caring for children since what feels like forever! My first babysitting job was when I was in middle school and I have continued since then, including through college, and well into my adult life. Lately I have been enjoying spending time with the littlest ones (babies and toddlers) because it is a great change of pace from working with elementary kiddos. I also love animals and am very comfortable caring for other peoples' pets. In addition to babysitting, have done a lot of petsitting as well. I love spending time with children and am always up for playing games, reading, doing arts and crafts, and being outdoors. I think working with children is the most rewarding of jobs.
