About Esther

Hello families, My name is Esther! I am 31 years old and currently a substitute teacher at the ESD. I am hoping to step into a full-time role as I've been a teacher for almost 5 years. I've worked mainly with 5th and 6th graders, helping students grow both academically and personally. Before that, I gained childcare experience as a pre-K teacher, VBS leader at church, and youth mentor during my undergrad years. As a Korean American and a creative, I'm passionate about education, culture, and inspiring students through engaging and meaningful learning. Outside of teaching, I enjoy art, music, food, and traveling, all of which fuel my creativity in the classroom. Please reach out if you have any questions!
