About Esperanza

I am a compassionate psychology student with experience working with children in educational and tutoring environments. I am currently pursuing my AA in Psychology at MDC. I enjoy supporting children academically and emotionally while following structured routines and positive behavior strategies. I am Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certified. I have worked as a Teacher Assistant and as an Assistant/Tutor at Kumon, where I supported students with learning and behavioral challenges through one-on-one and small group instruction. My experience includes behavior support, lesson assistance, parent communication, and front desk responsibilities such as scheduling and payments. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, patient, reliable, and able to work well in fast-paced environments. My goal is to continue growing in the field of psychology and behavior analysis while making a positive impact on children and their families.
