About Erin

Hi there, I am a former high school math & music teacher who also homeschooled my 4 children for many years. I got my master's in counseling in 2025, and I currently work part-time as a counselor. I have always enjoyed kids of all ages. I worked as a nanny during my first 2 years of grad school. I'm looking for an opportunity to supplement my income with caring for kids. I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and engaging. I like working with kids because I am a nurturer at heart, and kids keep me young! They have so much energy & curiosity. I'm looking for a job that is consistent with occasional flexibility. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old- over 30 years ago! In my spare time, I like to hike, sing, play piano & hang out with my kids. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable. My skills include infant care, creative play & teaching.
