About Emma

My experience working with children involves years of babysitting, teaching in a preschool, and teaching school-aged children as an art educator in museums around NYC. My academic knowledge, and training, lends itself to my childcare pedagogy of inspiring and encouraging autonomy, self-development, and greater self-esteem in young children through hands-on activities, such as art. I am specifically trained for, and have experience in, teaching children with various developmental needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder. I have found working with kids to be extremely valuable, as their ideas, thoughts and observations are meant to be explored and developed. I am honored to have had a hand in helping shape children's lives!
