About Michi

Hi! I am Michi, a second year college student studying theater and anthropology. I have always had a passion for teaching and childcare. I have several years of experience working with children through afterschool programs, where I've taught dance and led arts-based activities that encourage imagination and self-expression. I love helping children grow their creative minds through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I can respectfully and effectively communicate with both children and parents. I also have experience working with children with disabilities, which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and understanding of individual needs. I'm a quick problem solver who stays calm and positive in any situation. Above all, I truly love working with kids and strive to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for every child.
