About Emma

Most recently, I worked as a learning assistant in an elementary school Special Education classroom. I worked with students with special needs from the ages of 5-10 where I was responsible for assistance with toileting, hygiene, emotional regulation, etc. Along with aiding my students in developing basic life skills, I also assisted with one-on-one academic instruction regarding reading, writing, math and science. My passion for working with children began when I was in high school. I began nannying for a local family when the children were 2 and 3, where I was responsible for diaper changes, toileting, cooking, planning activities with the kids, and bath/bed time, before eventually assisting in school drop off and pick up. I love building connections with children, and learning from their unfiltered curiosity and joy. With that being said, it would be my pleasure and privilege in having the opportunity to work with yours!
