About Alyssa

Hi! I'm Alyssa, a current law student with an extensive background working with children of all ages and abilities. Before law school, I was a kindergarten teacher, where I created a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment while supporting each child's individual needs. I also have experience working with children with special needs, mentoring youth, and supporting families from a variety of backgrounds. These roles taught me how important patience, consistency, communication, and flexibility are when caring for children. I'm comfortable helping with homework, planning activities, preparing meals, keeping routines on track, and making sure kids are having fun while staying safe. I'm responsible, organized, energetic, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. As a former teacher, I'm also happy to incorporate educational activities, reading, crafts, outdoor play, or homework help into our time together.
