About Emma

Hi there, I'm Emma! After I graduated from UT, I worked at an elementary school as a student mentor and found my passion for working with children. I recently moved to Galveston and am eager to explore opportunities to work with families in the area. I am flexible with scheduling and am interested in a full-time position or short-term appointments. My rates start at $20/hour for one child. I am CPR certified, have a car, and have taken child development and child psychology courses in college. I have volunteered with a girls' empowerment group for 3rd and 4th-grade girls after school, interned for Communities In Schools, and worked as an AmeriCorps member at an elementary school in Austin. I focus on making my family's lives a little easier and providing your children with a safe, structured, and fun time. I love incorporating baking, crafts, and pretend play into my time with kids. I also have experience with self-regulation techniques. I look forward to meeting you!
