Emma was with our family from December 2024 through June 2026, caring for our son from the time he was 14 months old until nearly 3 years old. We were so sad to say goodbye, but only because our family moved out of state. Had we stayed, Emma would have continued with our family and helped care for our new baby as well. Emma is thoughtful, creative, loving, and genuinely cared about our son beyond what we could have ever hoped for. She didn’t just “watch” him, she really paid close attention to his interests, personality, and development, and always found ways to encourage the things he loved, especially books, art, and being outside. Whether she was taking him to the library, exploring different parks, or finding fun neighborhood activities, she made every day engaging. Often neighbors and even complete strangers would stop to tell us how wonderful and engaged Emma was with our son. To me, that says a lot, not just about how she is when we’re around, but how she shows up every day. As first-time parents, trusting someone else with our son felt like a huge step, but we always felt completely comfortable with Emma. She was incredibly respectful of the things that mattered to us as parents, dependable, and just an all-around wonderful presence in our son’s life. Emma is kind, trustworthy, engaged, and truly loves working with children. We recommend her wholeheartedly, and any family would be so lucky to have her.
