About Emma

Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm an early childhood educator. For the last three years I've worked with 3- and 4-year-olds in a Reggio Emilia-based child-led preschool program with an emphasis on Jewish traditions. I also have 10+ years babysitting and nannying experiencing with children from infancy to middle school. I have a master's in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. When I work with children, the most important thing to me is creating a warm, comforting environment that inspires the young ones to be their true selves. I have a passion for development, and I understand how important it is to foster a child's growth on their own terms. Patience is key. What is it that makes your child happy? What are their interests? What do they love to do? I am game to explore these things with your child and cultivate meaningful experiences through play and exploration.
