About Emily

My name is Emily and I'm 22 years old. I have over five years of experience working with kids through summer camp and outdoor education programs. I truly enjoy working with children especially ages 4-12. Most of my experience working with kids has been in screen free environments where I am responsible for leading activities to keep them happy and entertained. I have my own car that is reliable and a valid drivers license. I am comfortable providing transportation and making meals along with light housekeeping and cleaning up after kids however, I would encourage them to help me with their own messes to encourage a sense of responsibility and confidence. I am good at communicating with kids about routines and schedules throughout their day. I also have experience calming and validating big emotions as well as listening to their needs and doing my best to meet them.
