About Emily

My name is Emily and I have just completed my junior year at Penn State Main Campus as an Elementary Education major. I am a nanny for two energetic and fun children at home during the week over the summer in West Chester, Pa. I also have my clearances and FBI testing. I am CPR certified and teach surfing lessons in New Jersey. I also volunteer and teach vacation bible school to children from ages 3-14. I have been teaching there for 8 years and have loved the experience every year. I also was a referee for my local youth recreation and travel soccer program in my community. I am the oldest child and grandchild in my family and have experience helping my younger sister and cousins. My passion for teaching has come from my love and admiration of children because I learn something from them every day. I love playing sports, hanging out outside, and being creative! I am also involved in Young Life, a non-denominational youth group, and lead high school students in this ministry.
