About Emily

Hi there! I have a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and over 8 years of babysitting experience. I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in School Counseling, with the hopes of becoming an elementary school counselor. While finishing up my undergrad, I completed an internship at a preschool center serving at-risk youth and families. During this time, I learned from an experienced staff and was able to apply my observations and academic background to the role I played in supporting those children and their development. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-age kids, and I have experience managing multiple children at once. I'm organized, patient, and skilled in both communication and conflict resolution. Additionally, I am comfortable with completely household tasks and anything else that is helpful for the families I work with.
