About Emily

Hi! I am a soon-to-be graduate student at DePaul going for my master's in Speech-Language Pathology! I began working professionally with kids at a sports summer camp about 3 years ago. I worked with ages 6-12 and would be responsible for as many as 12 kids at a time. From there I was hired at a private school and day care where I mostly worked with ages 2-4 as a teacher assistant in a preschool class, but gained experience with all ages over the course of 2 years. It was here where my passion for childhood development really took off. I loved building connections with my students and their families and became very confident in my caretaking abilities and behavior management strategies. Supporting children flourish is something I love to do and I plan on making it my life's work, as I am hoping to work with children as a speech therapist post-graduation. I would be honored to take care and hang out with your kid(s) and am excited to meet amazing families in the area!
