About Claudia

Hello! I am looking for full or part-time work this summer before starting school again in the fall. I graduated from Northwestern in 2023 with a degree in Spanish and a minor in African American Studies. I absolutely love working with children and aspire to be a Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in the coming years! For three summers, I worked at a day camp for children aged 2-5. There, I led activities in a group setting and supervised swimming/field trip outings. I have also worked as a summer nanny in Evanston for 5+ years for ages 14 mo. - 12 years. I love getting outside, arts and crafts, and music! I'm also very organized and schedule-oriented, however I make sure to pivot to the needs of the child(ren). For the past year I have been teaching English in Spain at a school for ages 3-12. I have so enjoyed working with 200 students and improving my Spanish fluency, but I'm ready to get back to my roots of more individualized care.
