About Emily

I have always adored working with kiddos! With nearly 10 years of experience, from babysitting as a teen, to coaching, leading summer camp, nannying, and most recently, working at Children's Mercy Kansas City, I have always dedicated my time to working with children. I have formally studied child development through college courses and am passionate about developmentally appropriate practices, including the most current safety recommendations to encourage the healthy and happy growth of your child. To me, being a nanny is not just keeping an eye on your children while you are busy; it's a professional role in which I will truly care for your child, setting up age-appropriate activities to encourage their emotional, intellectual, and motor development.
