About Alexis

I have a deep passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence through everyday experiences. I enjoy creating a positive, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, practical life skills, and hands-on learning. As the oldest of 11 siblings, I've spent most of my life caring for children. I've also worked as a nanny, cared for infants through school-aged children, and have experience with daily routines, educational activities, meal preparation, transportation, and creating structured yet fun environments. My goal is to help children feel supported and encouraged as they develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively. I was homeschooled and participated in a homeschool co-op until I went into college at 16. This gave me very early appreciation for individualized learning and the importance of adapting to each child's unique strengths and needs. I bring patience, reliability, and a calm, encouraging presence to every family I work with.
