About Emily

I am currently a teacher at Beauvoir elementary school. I recently moved from Savannah, where I was the head of museum education at a historical house. Because of this, I know how to stimulate a child's mind through activity and education. I have a long history of childcare in my resume. Not only have I babysat all six of my nephews and nieces since birth, I was also a nanny and babysitter to children in Savannah, Orlando, and Paris. Since I was 12, I have worked with various ages of children and am well prepared for every temperament stage, from the amazingly well-behaved to the intensely naughty. I am knowledgeable in the Heimlich Maneuver and in CPR, and I have been known to stay calm in emergency situations. I make it a goal to play with children in an exciting and creative environment by using imaginative games and exercises. I will guarantee that your child or children will not be bored in my care.
