Experience: 7 yrs
I am a reliable, respectful and attentive caregiver with more than seven years of professional experience caring for children from newborns to 12 years old. I earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in 2016 and since then, I have been providing care for both individual and shared families. Living and working in the Washington, D. C. area. I assist with hygiene routines and engage in age-appropriate educational activities such as reading and learning games. I enjoy taking children out for outdoor play in local parks to encourage physical exercise and social interaction, as well as for story time at local libraries. I remain attentive and engaged with your child throughout the day, by singing songs, playing, reading extensively, going on walks, and outdoor activities to support and advance your child's learning and development. My primary and most important responsibility is the safety and well-being of your child. I have numerous references from happy families.

Lemlem was our first nanny for our firstborn, and we felt incredibly fortunate to find someone like her. She started when our daughter was 9 months old, and for me, it was very important to find someone who is a warm, attentive, and caring person who can give our daughter the attention she needs while we are not there. Lemlem made a great impression from the first time we met and speaking to other families she worked for, I was very quickly convinced that she would be our best choice. She brought warmth and enthusiasm to every interaction, and our daughter instantly loved her. It was heartwarming to see the strong connection they developed. Our daughter would literally light up with joy when she sees her coming in. Lemlem took her to various playgrounds and local libraries for reading sessions, always ensuring she had fun while learning and exploring the world around her. She also spent a lot of time reading and singing to our daughter, fostering a love for books and music. She set a high standard for what a great nanny should be. From day one, Lemlem established a strong bond of trust with us. She was always punctual, dependable, and extremely attentive to our daughter's needs. Her communication skills are excellent; she kept us informed about our daughter’s daily activities and developmental milestones, which gave us great peace of mind. Lemlem is also highly adaptable and handled any changes in our routine with ease, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for our daughter. Her qualifications are evident in her professional and knowledgeable approach to childcare, and I asked for her advice on a number of occasions. Other parents at our two local playgrounds often commented on how caring and attentive Lemlem was with our daughter, which only reinforced our confidence in her abilities. For the past four months, she has worked with us from Monday through Friday, and I am so sad we cannot take her with us as we relocate to our home country. If we return to D.C., Lemlem will undoubtedly be our first choice for a nanny.
