About Emily

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, eclectic, and passionate. I like working with kids because it is important to foster young bright minds in the development of creativity, responsibility, and independence. Of all the jobs I've had it is the most fulfilling to watch kids grow into who they will be. I started working with kids when I was 10. I have been the babysitter for most of my family from a young age. At 17 I began transitioning to full-time nannying for family friends. Then, at 18 I became a daycare teacher. I then went back to being a full-time nanny. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, and spend time with family or friends. My skills include effectively defusing emotional situations, getting on a child's level to understand, and attentively engaging in activities.
