Your creative, driven, "gifted" kid is unexpectedly at home this year. And they're full of ideas! They can't wait to do interesting things with all their newfound spare time. But: they're stuck and getting frustrated. Maybe they want to learn how to make and edit videos, or compose music, or write short stories. Or all of the above. But they're struggling to direct themselves in their new creative pursuit, and they're getting discouraged. I can help! I'm an experienced tutor AND a researcher of self-directed and personalized learning, with a PhD from Purdue in an education field. I can help your kid develop a sense of self-efficacy as they work through the frustrations of starting a new creative project or hobby on their own. I have done just this in 1 year as self-directed learning coach for a homeschooling family. I love working with students of all ages. Limited spots are available starting in Oct.
