About Lisa
Hi, I'm Lisa. I started tutoring 11 years ago when I first enrolled in college. I was a stay-at-home mom and decided I wanted to become a teacher so I went back to school. I have always loved children and working with them is like a dream come true for me. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Teaching, K-6 at the University of North Florida, I went on to achieve my Masters Degree in School Counseling, K-12. Since the pandemic began, I have been at home with my own 2 children and finally ready to get back into teaching and counseling. I mostly have tutoring experience with elementary-aged students but I also enjoy working with middle school students as well. I look forward to meeting you and your child soon!

We are so grateful we found Lisa and her daughters through Care.com! My son immediately warmed to her. Lisa is a kind, gentle and trustworthy caregiver. My son blossomed under her care - she did so much to help us socialize him! She encouraged us to sign him up for the Little Gym and took him to classes, as well as the mall, the park, the pool, etc! He was never crying when I came home to see him and always seemed sad to say goodbye - which for me was the best review of all. Our family was so sad for her to relocate. Highly recommended!
