About Eleni

For the past three years I have been an English teacher/tutor for Akron Public Schools. I worked specifically with students that were struggling readers and writers, as well as students that were learning English as their second language. I taught different comprehension strategies as well as focusing on expanding vocabulary and reading fluency. During the 2015/2016 school year, my students grew one and half years on their MAP assessments from fall to winter testing. During my undergrad, I was able to tutor students that were preparing for their Ohio Graduation Test as well as for their ACT and SAT. I have passed my PRAXIS I and II exams and because of this success I have been able to successfully tutor multiple students preparing to take their teaching exams.
