About Eileen

I live in Oak Lawn and attended DePaul University and St. Xavier's. I have been a nanny for over 15 years. I have a B. S. in Psychology and have completed all M. A. coursework in Elementary Education. I also tutor in the evenings and on weekends. I worked for a family in Downers Grove for 10 years. I then worked for a family in the Beverly area for eight years. I was responsible for all aspects of child care: Transportation from school, arranging and supervising play dates, scheduling music lessons, after-school sports, etc. supervising homework and encouraging organization of children's toys and school supplies. My most recent/current position is in Riverside. I have worked with this family for one year, the children are 7 & 5. The youngest will be starting kindergarten and the mom will be changing her work hours so she will not need child care. I enjoy working with young children and introducing them to new ideas and experiences. I like to make learning fun and encourage reading and arts and crafts.
