I provide specialized tutoring that incorporates my background as both an Optometrist and a certified Texas Educator. These tutoring sessions use a combination of exercises and instruction that enhance visual skills to support academic performance and sustained visual attention. As an optometrist in practice for over 20 years, I have witnessed students with underlying learning challenges who have accompanying visual deficiencies in their eye teaming and visual processing. I incorporate effective eye exercises along with tailored subject based content such as in math, reading and writing within tutoring sessions that help students become successful at school. All students, even those with 20/20 vision, can benefit from these techniques to strengthen visual performance in academics and sports.
