Taking care of newborns is a true passion of mine. I am patient, calm, nurturing, compassionate, which allows me to connect with infants easily. In addition, I volunteered in the NICU and learned so much from the amazing NICU nurses. I have a college degree, am TrustLine certified and have completed Early Child Development coursework. I am a Doula, lactation consultant and sleep trainer. I pride myself on guiding little ones with safe sleep practices and a system that teaches them to sleep all night without any tears. I am CPR trained and First Aid certified. I have taken care of preemies, twins, triplets, babies with tongue tie, reflux, torticollis and colic. I have worked with physical therapists who gave me tips to help with developmental milestones. I am happy to help with light housekeeping, laundry, cleaning/steaming bottles and breast pump parts. It would be a pleasure to bring my experience to your family and be a calm presence for you during this wonderful time.
Donna joined our family on day one, bringing our daughter home from the hospital at 0 days old, and has been with us for the entire fourth trimester (ending next week at 12 weeks). She started at 7 nights a week and later transitioned to 6, and having her by our side transformed our transition into parenthood. From the very first night, Donna’s expertise was invaluable. She was deeply attentive to my wife’s postpartum recovery, offering gentle, expert guidance on breastfeeding and latching that gave us immediate confidence. Beyond nighttime care, Donna laid an incredible foundation for our baby’s sleep. Through consistent routines, gentle sleep guidance, and an effective dream feed schedule, our daughter is now reliably sleeping through the night from 8PM to 6AM at just 11 weeks old. Donna also played a massive role in our daughter’s rapid developmental milestones. She constantly engaged her by talking to her, reading to her every single night before bed, and prioritizing tummy time. Thanks to Donna, our little girl was lifting her neck remarkably early, smiling, and cooing well before two months. What sets Donna apart, however, is how deeply she genuinely cares. She treats our daughter like family. We’d routinely open the nursery dresser to find adorable new clothes she’d brought, thoughtful toys, or helpful nursery upgrades she picked up on her own. Even on her days off, she’d send sweet check-ins to see how our baby was doing. Donna gave us the greatest gifts any new parents could ask for: restorative sleep, total peace of mind, and an extraordinary head start for our daughter. Any family would be beyond fortunate to have her in their home.
