I have taught special education for 33 years. I am semi-retired and would like to tutor your child over the summer. If your child is struggling in reading or math, I can work with them over the summer to get caught up and close that gap. I use the Wilson Reading Program. My recommendation is only a half hour a day four times a week. In math I would have your child do sample problems to find weaknesses and work on those. Again half an hour four days a week is plenty. Once fall starts I can work with your child on their homework or assignments that are behind. I would be in direct contact with their teacher for behind assignments. One hour a night is plenty. Siblings can come at the same time for a discounted price. Tutoring can be in your home, mine or the library. If in my home I can invite you via phone/computer if you wish to watch.
