About Heather

I have been a speech-language pathologist for 10 years and also have a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. During my career I have worked in a variety of settings including: Hospital, home health care, skilled nursing facility, long term acute care, outpatient therapy and schools. I have been working in the school system full-time for the last 7 years. I have experience working with a wide range of needs from mild-intense disabilities creating engaging lessons, managing behaviors and increasing a child's ability to communicate effectively. I have also been tutoring students working on a variety of skills including math, vocabulary, reading, science, social studies, articulation, etc. I am dependable, responsible, organized, patient, friendly and outgoing. I genuinely love children and will go above and beyond to help the child succeed and enjoy what they are doing.
