About Denise

I raised four special needs children from Russia. My experience as a parent is absolute dedication and love. I use "Parenting with love and logic" which teaches children how to make choices and experience the natural consequence of their choice. IE: Would you like to do your reading in the dining room or the living room?" Child chooses not to read at all. Later, "sorry, no TV, you didn't do your reading." Natural consequence that the child chose. I would never raise a hand to a child except to help them. It shouldn't hurt to be a child. I love taking kids to the swim center and I know how to teach kids to swim. I also love long walks with things to discover and learn about. I believe that encouragement is an integral part of childcare. I want to help children reach their full potential.
