Hello! My name is David. I am 26. I grew up in Gardnerville, NV. I have lived and worked in Reno, Brooklyn, NY, and Mexico City. I have 6 years of nanny experience for children ages 1-12. For my entire life, spending time with and caring for children has always brought me joy. Being attentive, patient, loving, and energetic around children and infants comes naturally to me. In addition to my child care experience, I am a professional musician and have taught music lessons to children ages 5-17 for 8 years. I am also fluent in Spanish and have tutored children in both English and Spanish. In addition to being your nanny and helping with school work, playing games, outdoor activities, etc, I could also teach drums, music reading, and Spanish/English. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, travel etc to make your lives easier.

David was our son Z’s sitter for about a year in 2021-22, when Z was 11 years old. David proved to be very reliable, conscientious and engaged. He administered tasks well (such as making sure Z stayed on top of homework and chores), and was a good match for Z’s curiosity and creativity. We live in NYC, and David had to navigate subway rides to and from school and other locations and did so safely and without a hitch. He was Z’s favorite sitter of all time, which is saying a lot given how many he has had (we are two working parents one of whom travels for work). We would hire David again, and we recommend him unreservedly.
