About Dena

I am a kindergarten teacher at a private school in the Shoreline area with six years of experience working with young children. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Whitworth University and completed a master's degree in Social Emotional Learning. Teaching and caring for young children takes patience, creativity, and a genuine love for this age group. I am very comfortable creating engaging, age-appropriate activities such as story time, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration, while also supporting routines, emotional regulation, and positive behavior. I pride myself on being nurturing, reliable, and attentive, and I strive to create a safe, calm, and fun environment where children feel supported and confident. My experience working closely with families and young learners allows me to meet each child where they are and care for them with intention and warmth.
