About Daisy

I have worked with children in learning environments for several years, and love supporting youth and their families! Currently, I am a part-time Family Advocate at a local middle school (ages 11-13). My background includes early childhood education with Head Start preschool in Bellingham, elementary school social work in Seattle, and nannying for families with toddlers and young children (ages 1, 3, and 5). I've really loved my experiences nannying, and am hopeful to find another good fit as a family's part-time support in addition to my middle school work. From teaching swim and dance lessons, to helping families' with morning routines, to creating social emotional curriculum for elementary schoolers, I have several years experience supporting children at meal times, with transitions, navigating big emotions, and maintaining safe learning environments. I am passionate about learning through play and creative expression and supporting children's social emotional learning.
