About Delaney

For the last seven years I have dedicated my life to my job as a CNA in a nursing home setting. I found so much purpose in caring for others that I fell in love with the work. But, after caring for grown adults for so long, who are often violent and confused has started to tale a physical and mental toll on me. I absolutely adore children. I have always wanted to start a career in working with kids. When I was around 12 I would babysit a family friends daughter every weekend for the first year of her life. Then when I was 19 one of my close friends had her first child and I was her overnight babysitter whenever she was busy. Although I dont have much professional child care experience I am exploring care. com in hope that a family will still give me a chance. I hope to go back to school this fall to be a child psychologist and would love to be able to begin a new career related to that in some way as well. Thank you for reading!
